In July, 66 parenting education leaders joined Dr. Michael Popkin, Director of Training Susan Reed, and others for the Training of Trainers (ToT) seminars. There were two seminars—one in Chicago and one in Atlanta—and each 3-day event featured a mixture of activities, discussion, presentations, and just plain fun.

Two learning tracks were offered in 2000:
I Active Parenting Today & Active Parenting of Teens
II Families in Action for Parents and/or Teens

The Families in Action track was led by Peggy Hendrickson, co-author of the program. The Active Parenting track was led by Dr. Michael Popkin and Susan Reed.

The 2001 Training of Trainers (and Leaders) seminars will be held July 12-14 in Chicago and August 2-4 in Atlanta. Contact ToT coordinator Dana McKie at 800-825-0060 to arrange a Special ToT for your area.
