Learning & Laughter at the 2001 Training of Trainers Seminars

In July and August, parenting education leaders from all over North America joined Dr. Michael Popkin and Director of Training Susan Reed for the Training of Trainers (ToT) seminars in Chicago and Atlanta. Participants deepened their knowledge of the programs while learning how to train other parenting educators. One agency—Holsten United Methodist Home for Children of Johnson City, Tennessee—jump-started its Active Parenting program by sending five leaders to the Atlanta seminar.

Each 3-day event featured a mixture of activities, discussion, presentations, and just plain fun. Next year's ToTs have not yet been scheduled but are expected to take place in July 2002 in California and Georgia.
