Active Parenting News & Notes

Active Parenting leader Marci Mayer Eisen
met with Missouri Gov. Bob Holden

  Friends in high places
Marci Mayer Eisen, Director of the Helene Mirowitz Department of Jewish Community Life at the St. Louis Jewish Community Center, recently enjoyed a meeting with Missouri Governor Bob Holden. Marci presented the Governor with a copy of the Active Parenting Today Parent's Guide for himself and his wife. The Holdens are parents of two sons, ages 6 and 11. Marci coordinates the Active Parenting for Jewish Families program in St. Louis, which she helped to develop in 1999. Since that time, over 200 parents have completed the program through the St. Louis Jewish Community Center.
