OPTIONS FOR LEADER PARTICIPATION

There are four different options for participating as an online leader. Option 1 is available to independent leaders. Certified leaders may choose any of the four options. Choose the option that best fits your circumstances, preferences, and audience:

OPTION 1: Purchase Kits/Recruit Parents
Choose this option if you a) want to set your own price, and b) are able to distribute materials to participants and collect payment from participants.

• You promote your online group within your community. We provide you with marketing materials and a personalized web page that we provide at our site. This web page gives information about the class and you.
• There is a minimum of 10 parents per class.
• You purchase kits for your participants at a discounted price: $44.95/kit + s/h.
• You determine what you want to charge participants. (Retail price is $69.95 + s/h.)
• You collect payment from the participants.
• We ship the kits to you, and you distribute them to your participants.
• You provide us with a roster for your class, including names and e-mail addresses for each participant.
• We prepare a place online for each of your participants, and communicate the login information to the participants via e-mail.

OPTION 2: Open Class/Fixed Price
Choose this option if you a) can't distribute materials to participants and/or can't collect payment, and b) want to charge $69.95 per participant, and be paid $15 per participant.

Note: You must be a Certified Active Parenting Online Leader to choose this option.

• You promote your online group within your community. We provide you with marketing materials that refer participants to your web page that we provide at our site. This page gives information about the class and you.
• From the web page, the participant can register for the class at a fixed price of $69.95.
• We ship the materials directly to the participant.
• We prepare a place online for each of your participants, and communicate the login information to the participants via e-mail.
• At the end of the class, we will pay you $15 per participant you recruit.
• There is a minimum of 10 parents per class.
• If you do not meet the 10 parent minimum, Active Parenting may place parents in your group, if available, to help you meet this minimum (this is an "open class"). Active Parenting cannot guarantee the placement of parents into your groups.
  

OPTION 3: Closed Class/Flexible Price
Choose this option if you a) can't distribute mateirals to participants and/or can't collect payment, b) want your classes to include only the parents you recruit, and/or c) want to set your own price, and be paid the difference between your price and $54.95 per participant.

Note: You must be a Certified Active Parenting Online leader to choose this option.

• You promote your online group within your community. We provide you with marketing materials that refer participants to your web page that we will provide at our site. This page gives information about the class and you.
• From the web page, the participant can register for the class at a price that you specify.
• We ship the materials directly to the participant.
• We prepare a place online for each of your participants, and communicate the login information to the participants via e-mail.
• We will pay you the difference between your set price and $54.95 per participant at the end of the class.
• There is a minimum of 10 parents per class. We will form a class when the 10-parent minimum is met. (Active Parenting will not supplement your group with parents to meet the minimum since this is a "closed class" option.)
  

OPTION 4: APP Class
Choose this option if you do not want to recruit your own participants and want to lead classes of parents provided by Active Parenting.

Note: You must be a Certified Active Parenting Online Leader to choose this option.

• Parents sign up through Active Parenting.
• We notify you when we have a class ready for you to lead. Active Parenting cannot guarantee the placement of parents into your groups.
• We ship the materials directly to the participants.
• We prepare a place online for each of your participants, and communicate the login information to the participants via e-mail.
• We will pay you $10 per participant at the end of the class.
