INDEPENDENT
Online Leader Track

Independent Online Leaders participate in the program under Option 1: recruit parents to fill their own groups, and purchase/distribute the materials to participants. Active Parenting provides printed marketing materials and a personalized web page to help recruit parents, but does not place parents into these groups.

STEP 3:
Begin recruiting parents.
Active Parenting will provide you with marketing materials and a personalized web page to help you recruit participants for your group.

STEP 4:
Purchase parent materials.
Turn in your group lists (minimum of 10 for each group) and purchase program kits for $44.95 (+s/h) each. You can set your own price to charge parents for participating in the course. (Active Parenting's retail price is $69.95.)

STEP 5:
Distribute the materials and begin leading your Online Group.

Options 2, 3, or 4
CERTIFIED
Online Leader Track

Certified Online Leaders recruit their own parents to fill groups, and/or have parents placed into their groups by Active Parenting. Active Parenting provides Certified Leaders with printed marketing materials and a personalized web page to help you recruit and register parents. Certified leaders may choose any of the four leader participation options.

STEP 3:
Complete the content evaluation and writing sample.
Upon successful completion of the leader training course, the next step is to complete a short test and writing sample.

STEP 4:
Lead a trial Online Group.
Upon successful completion of the evaluation, you will be invited to lead a trial parent group, with guidance from our Training Director. You may either recruit your own parents for this group, or wait until Active Parenting can fill a class for you. (We cannot guarantee parents for your class.) You will be paid $10 per parent we place in your group, and $15 per parent you recruit.

STEP 5:
Become certified and begin leading Online Groups.
Upon successful completion of the trial group, you will be certified and will receive a certificate. You may now choose any of the four Leader Options.
