Telesales Representative
Job Description:
Put your excellent communication skills to work for Active Parenting. We’re looking for a qualified and enthusiastic temporary, part-time (with potential for becoming permanent) person to join our Training Department to generate workshop leads and registrations. You MUST enjoy working on the phone. Requires heavy prospecting and selling of our workshops to customers from our database.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Make calls to prospects and send introductory e-mails (estimated 60 calls per day minimum)
-Follow-up on calling activity
-Help build workshop attendance by generating workshop registrations
-Record accurate activity notes in customer database system (Mail Order Management – MOM)
-Track results and create status reports to review with Training Coordinator
-Ensure documentation and lead information is accurate and complete

Requirements:
-2+ years Sales or Telemarketing experience
-Experience in education or counseling fields a plus
-Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
-Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
-Knowledge of Mail Order Management (MOM) software a plus
-Attention to detail, organizational skills, goal-driven

Compensation and Hours:
-Base salary of $10 per hour plus commission
-Part-time, 20 hours per week (can be flexible with days and times)
