Q Who will be leading my Leader Training Workshop?
A Your workshop will be facilitated by
one of Active Parenting’s certified national trainers. These
trainers—who are themselves veteran parenting education
leaders—have completed our rigorous Training of Trainers
program and achieved certification.
Q What if I have to cancel?
A Leader Training Workshop: Full registration fee will be refunded
if cancellation is made at least fifteen days prior to the workshop.
Otherwise, a credit will be issued to be used for future Active Parenting
training.
Training of Trainers: If you cancel at least 15 days prior to
the TOT, all but $100 will be refunded. If you cancel fewer than 15
business days before the TOT, a credit will be issued to be used for
future Active Parenting training.
Q How can I become a certified Active Parenting leader?
A Once you've attended the training, you
can become an Active Parenting certified leader by holding your
first parenting group and sending us the evaluations from your
class, along with your self-evauation. If your evaluations are
positive, we will certify you as an Active Parenting leader.
Of course you may continue to hold parenting classes even if
you choose not be become certified.
Q What if I need more training than this?
A The 3-day Training
of Trainers (ToT) seminars, held each summer, offer an extended
learning opportunity for both beginning and experienced leaders.
