Leading parenting groups is a great experience! You're not just helping parentsyoure helping children, teachers and other members of your community by strengthening families. Weve heard many amazing stories about the positive changes that occur after parents are shown the skills they need to communicate effectively with their children and others.

At Active Parenting Publishers, we provide opportunities to train to be a more effective facilitator at our Leader Training Workshops. You can also step up and learn how to train other facilitators at the Training of Trainers seminars. See below for information about both training options.

Earn NBCC credit
Active Parenting Publishers is recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors to offer continuing education units for National Certified Counselors. We adhere to NBCC continuing education guidelines. Please contact your state licensing board for qualification guidelines.

Don't see a workshop in your area?
If your organization has 12 or more people who need to be trained in one or more Active Parenting programs, we can send one of our national trainers to conduct a Special Leader Training Workshop (or Training of Trainers) for you. Click here for more information.

We are convinced you'll leave the workshop feeling confident and energized. If you are not satisfied for any reason, let us know and we'll refund your fee. See below for terms of this guarantee:

• LTW/TOT (live classes): If you are not satisfied for any reason, let us know within 30 days and we'll refund your registration fee.
• Online training: If you are not satisfied for any reason, let us know before you download your Certificate of Completion, then return your books and we’ll refund your registration fee.

Cancellation Policy
Active Parenting Publishers reserves the right to cancel workshops due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. Active Parenting Publishers cannot be held responsible for non-refundable travel reservations.

Leader Training Workshop (live): If you cancel at least 15 business days prior to the LTW, all but $25 will be refunded. Otherwise, a credit will be issued for future Active Parenting training or materials (less a $25 cancellation fee). Dates and locations are subject to change.

Training of Trainers: If you cancel at least 15 business days prior to the TOT, all but $100 will be refunded. Otherwise, a credit will be issued for future Active Parenting training or materials (less a $100 cancellation fee). Dates and locations are subject to change.
