Cooperative Coparenting through Separation or Divorce two-day Leader Training Workshop

Cooperative Coparenting through Separation or Divorce is a program that helps parents shield their children from parental conflict and guide them through the process of recovery, while establishing a positive, long-term relationship with the child’s other parent. It is designed for coparents with low to moderate conflict.

This live 2-day Leader Training Webinar is perfect for Leaders who have never led a coparenting class. This in-depth workshop explores the acclaimed Cooperative Education (COCO) program and video resources. In addition, participants will learn tips and techniques for leading parenting education courses. This experience aims to ensure participants develop a clear understanding of the content and principles of the program. This comprehensive 2-day webinar will cover more content including more role-play and activities than the standard 1-day workshop. Each participant receives a Leader’s Guide, a Parent’s Guide, ten clock hours, a marketing folder & certification packet.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • the unique needs of families in transition
  • how to work with conflicted parents
  • how to market your parent groups

The Leader Training Workshop will also show you how to use this program to teach parents:

  • the impact that conflict has on children
  • how to manage anger
  • how to increase impulse control
  • how to resolve conflict
  • peaceful negotiation skills
  • keeping children out of the middle

Written by therapists Susan Boyan and Ann Marie Termini, Cooperative Coparenting through Separation or Divorce is the most extensive, informative and interactive resource to date examining the complex realities of coparenting.
